The Mac Miller 911 call reveals his friend’s desperate plea for help after discovering his body at his home in San Fernando valley last Friday morning.

In the audio, obtained by TMZ, a frantic male voice can be heard begging the operator to get an ambulance to the star’s house as soon as possible.

“Please hurry,” he says after revealing tte last time he saw Mac was ‘yesterday’.

The 911 call has been heavily redacted and lasts less than a minute before the call is dropped.



The rapper’s body was found at his home on Friday

Earlier it was reported that the rapper is thought to have been dead for hours before his body was discovered.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that they believe he had died a long time before they got to his home in response to the 911 call.

The call reportedly came in as “cardiac arrest”, but it’s thought that’s because the friend didn’t realise the rapper was already dead.



He was due to go on tour next month

Police are now said to be looking into the party Mac – real name Malcolm McCormick – held at his home the night before.

They say no one has come forward claiming they saw the rapper alive after Thursday night.



The day before his death, he tweeted: “I just wanna go on tour”

It’s believed he died from an overdose, but his death certificate states his official cause of death is still unknown.

Officially, it will remain a mystery until toxicology results return in four to six weeks.

Mac, who was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, had been having trouble with substance abuse recently following his break up from Ariana Grande .

His most recent album, Swimming, was just released on August 3 and he was due to go on tour next month.

The night before his death Mac had posted a video of a record player with a song from one of his albums playing.

In his last post on Twitter , he told his nearly 9million followers: “I just wanna go on tour.”

In a statement his heartbroken family described him as “bright light in this world for his family, friends and fans”.
