Bachelor star Amanda Stanton has apologised following her arrest in the early hours of Monday morning for allegedly pushing her boyfriend during a boozy party in Las Vegas.
Amanda, who starred on season 20 of The Bachelor, had been partying with friends and her boyfriend Bobby Jacob at Encore Beach Club at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas before they all ended up going back to a hotel room.
According to TMZ, security went up to the room around 3:15am after there was a noise complaint and her boyfriend Bobby spoke to the guard.
That’s when mum-of-two Amanda reportedly attempted to intervene, and pushed her 6ft 6in boyfriend in the process.
The push is said to have prompted security to call the police, who arrested Amanda for misdemeanor domestic violence.
Despite her arrest, the pair have since put the incident behind them as they shared a loved-up picture on a private jet leaving Vegas on Tuesday.
Her spokesman Steve Honig said in a statement: “Amanda is embarrassed and ashamed this happened and sincerely apologises to hotel security and the Las Vegas Police Department. Amanda is a gentle, respectful person who has never gotten physical with anyone under any circumstance.”
He added: “That evening she had a few drinks at a bachelorette party and when hotel security asked her and Bobby to quiet down, she got a bit rambunctious. Amanda gave Bobby what she thought was a playful shove; hotel security did their job and reported the incident to the police, who in turn did their job.
“Despite Bobby explaining this was not an ill-intended shove, the police still had to do their job which Amanda completely respects and understands.”
The mum-of-two also appeared in The Bachelor In Paradise.
